Chabad Hebrew School, directed by Rivkah Block, strives to offer a unique Jewish experience to the children of our community. Chabad Hebrew School is built on the belief that every Jewish child deserves a meaningful, relevant and joyful Jewish education.

Our comprehensive curriculum is permeated with a creative hands-on approach to learning. Our goal is to share with our students and their families the joy, pride and responsibility of being a Jew in our world today.

Hebrew

As Hebrew is the cornerstone of Jewish life and practice, we place great importance on the mastery of Hebrew reading and writing and prayers at Chabad Hebrew School. Dorit Bracha is beginning her third year as coordinator of the Hebrew program at our school. Dorit brings many years of experience as a teacher and currently as the Hebrew director of Yavneh Academy High School in Dallas. Our students are fortunate to benefit from her appreciation of the learning process and the unique conditions of a once a week Hebrew program.

Hebrew High

After bar/bat mitzvah our students are encouraged to continue their Jewish education at Chabad. Rabbi Horowitz leads the young men and women in prayer, discussion and refreshments each week. Rabbi Horowitz’s personality, intelligence and ability to connect with this age group allow him to have agreat impact on this age group. The students will participate in “chessed outings” where they give back to the community in the form of volunteering in a wide range of situations.
