Special programs during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Designed to be meaningful, engaging, and age-appropriate. Child care provided during listed times.

Rosh Hashanah

Children & Teens Programs

Monday September 22 - Evening Services  
Childcare and program for children ages 7 & up
6:45pm-7:45pm
Led by Esty Wolfe and Rochele Goldenberg

 

Tuesday September 23 & Wednesday, September 24

Child Care

Available from 10:00 AM until the end of services (both days).

Family Service (Parents & children up to age 7)

Led by Chaya Block & Yeliz Akaya
11:30 AM – 12:45 PM · Includes 12:15 Shofar Blowing and 12:30 Lunch.
Parents must attend with children under age 3.

Junior Congregation (Ages 8–12)

Led by Esty Wolfe and Rochele Goldenberg
11:30 AM – 12:45 PM · Includes 12:15 Shofar Blowing and 12:30 Lunch.

Torah Talk (Teens 13–17)

Led by CTeen Rabbi Eli & Nechema Newman
11:30 AM – 12:45 PM · Includes 12:15 Shofar Blowing and 12:30 Lunch.

Programs conclude at 12:45 PM, after which child care resumes.

Yom Kippur

Erev Yom Kippur – Wednesday, Oct 1
  • Child Care available from 6:30 PM until end of the evening service.
  • Junior Congregation (Ages 4–7) – led by Nechema Newman
  • Junior Congregation (Ages 8–12) – led by Rabbi Eli Newman (Program 7:30–8:00 PM)
Yom Kippur Day – Thursday, Oct 2
  • Child Care available from 10:00 AM until the end of the morning service.
  • Family Service (Parents & children up to age 7) – led by Chaya Block & Yeliz Akaya (11:45 AM – 1:00PM)
    Parents must attend with children under age 3.
  • Junior Congregation (Ages 8–12) – led by Nechema Newman & Devora Block (11:45 AM – 1:00PM
  • Torah Talk (Teens 13–17) – led by CTeen Rabbi Eli Newman (11:45 AM – 1:00PM)

Children can join the main service for shofar blowing at the conclusion of Neilah 7:40pm
 

Please note: there will not be child care during Neilah.
