1st Day of Rosh Hashanah
Monday, September 26, 2022
5:30 PM Adults Only (Outdoors)
6:00 PM Families (Indoors)

Adults who can not make it to the morning service, or who are not comfortable to come indoors, are welcome to join our "Afternoon Shofar Blowing For Adults". Led by Rabbi Block, this will include the blowing of the Shofar and some words of inspiration. Following this Shofar blowing we will walk together to observe the Tashlich* service.

For all children and families who are not able to fulfill the Mitzvah of hearing the blowing of the Shofar in the morning. We are hosting an "Afternoon Shofar Blowing for Families". There will be Shofar blowing, Stories, Songs and Prayers led by Rabbi and Esther Horowitz. Following this Shofar blowing we will walk together to observe the Tashlich* service.

**Families with children who come to the morning services are welcome to join our regular family service and youth programming (More info on the "Youth" page)**

If you did hear the Shofar blowing in the morning and would like to join us for the inspirational Tashlich service, please come at 6:30 p.m.

For Families of All Ages
No charge, No RSVP

*We walk to a local creek for Tashlich. Tashlich means “casting off”; on Rosh Hashanah, we symbolically throw off the previous year’s mistakes near water.
