Rosh Hashanah Afternoon Shofar and Tashlich

1st Day of Rosh Hashanah
Monday, September 30, 6:00 PM

For any adults or children who are not able to fulfill the Mitzvah of hearing the blowing of the Shofar in the morning, we are hosting this afternoon Shofar service. There will be Shofar blowing, Stories, Songs and Prayers. This Shofar service will take place upstairs in the Learning Center. Following this service we will walk together to observe the Tashlich* service.

If you did hear the Shofar blowing in the morning and would like to join us for the inspirational Tashlich service, please come at 6:30 p.m.

For Families of All Ages
No charge, No RSVP

*We walk to a local creek for Tashlich. Tashlich means “casting off”; on Rosh Hashanah, we symbolically throw off the previous year’s mistakes near water.
