Services take place at the Lang Chabad Center

Please Click Here for our "High Holidays Covid Plans and Guidelines" letter for High Holidays 2021

Our 'Main" Service will be held indoors.  Currently, for the indoor service we are strongly recommending masks. We will be setting up the shul in a socially distanced way and we will be sanitizing all surfaces between each service.

We will also be holding outdoor "Essential" services for the following three services: On the First day of Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidrei/Yom Kippur Eve, Yizkor/Yom Kippur Day and Neilah. The outdoor services will be held in the open Sukkah in the Chabad playground area. Please read on to see what the different services will look like and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

INDOOR SERVICES (The "Main" Service):
During all indoor services we will:
• Pray the entire service together as usual and enjoy the melodies from our Chazzan
•Ongoing explanations of the prayers and sermons delivered by Rabbi Block and Rabbi Horowitz
• Have a full Shofar service on Rosh Hashanah
• Have easy to follow services with English translated Prayer Book
• Make it enjoyable, relevant and meaningful for Jews of all backgrounds
• Hold a fun and engaging Junior Congregation and childcare for children and teens

OUTDOOR SERVICES (The "Essential" Service):
During all outdoor services we will:
• Pray select essential prayers together
• Hear words of explanation from the Rabbi
• Have a full Shofar service on Rosh Hashanah
• The Sukkah will be set so that the chairs are distanced from each other
• Have easy to follow services with English translated Prayer Book
• Still make it enjoyable, relevant and meaningful for Jews of all backgrounds

Our Chazan will be Rabbi Tzemach Zirkind.
He has been leading the High Holiday services for the past 6 years! He has a clear baritone that is pleasant and easy to listen to. He will chant the traditional tunes modified to include influences and hints of contemporary style.
