Dr. William Kantor
Dr. William Kantor, or affectionately known by his Jewish name of Velvel, is a beloved member of Chabad of Plano. He is being honored with the Chessed Award for his remarkable volunteerism and dedication to our community. A general surgeon, devoted husband, father of four, and grandfather of three, Dr. Kantor exemplifies kindness and service in every aspect of his life.
Dr. Kantor's involvement spans many areas, including preparing the monthly Tefillin Club breakfast, volunteering in the Challah Shoppe, and serving as Gabbai during Torah reading. His medical expertise is a valued resource, always available to guide those in need.
Since joining Chabad over 15 years ago, Dr. Kantor has grown significantly in his Jewish learning and Torah knowledge. His commitment to both personal growth and community service inspires us all.
