Yudi Cohen - 'The Soulful Tenor'
Chazzan Yudi Cohen was Cantor in the Sydenham Highlands North Shul in Johannesburg South Africa for over 15 years.
Yudi uses his gift of mixing contemporary and classical repertoire as well as his unique ability to reach and inspire diverse audiences, to bring you an evening of entertainment and upliftment as he takes you on a musical journey through the High Holidays.

Using the medium of music and song, Yudi will explore the personal journey that IS the essence of the High holy days and our connection with Hashem. Singing traditional Yom Tov classics such as Kol Nidrei, Avinu Malkeinu, a moving Yizkor memorial and performing Musical Showpieces such as Barbara Streisand’s Avinu Malkeinu and Leonard Cohen’s Who By Fire, Yudi inspires, connects and engages with the audience.
This event will take place at the Lang Chabad Center
